Klugherz Annual Water Meeting - Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 6:30 pm - Ada County Library, 10664 W. Victory Rd. - downstairs - Forrey Room.
To ensure transparency and effective operation, our organization is guided by two foundational documents. Understanding their distinct roles helps our members stay informed about how we are structured and how we make decisions.
Articles of Incorporation: Think of this as our "birth certificate." Filed with the state, it establishes our formal legal existence and outlines our primary purpose. This is a high-level, permanent document that rarely changes.
Bylaws: Think of this as our "operating manual." This internal document governs our day-to-day operations, including board meeting procedures, election processes, and the specific roles of our officers. Bylaws are intended to be more adaptable, allowing our board to refine our internal processes to better serve the membership.
In summary: The Articles establish who we are, while the Bylaws dictate how we get our work done.
